In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Montblanc Star Collection this year, the Maison reinvents its iconic collection with timepieces inspired by the extraordinary patrimony of the Minerva Manufacture, reinterpreting both the collection’s aesthetics and technology. The contemporary Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date 39mm Silver is the purest timepiece of the collection. It displays all the design codes of the line, including a refined dial featuring the Montblanc iconic exploding star guilloché pattern, leaf-shaped hours and minutes hands, redesigned Breguet-style Arabic numerals reminiscent of the historical Minerva pocket watches, a filet sauté (up and down guilloché lines), a unique railway minute track and a seconds hand with the Montblanc emblem at its tip. The timepiece is housed in a 39 mm stainless steel case, features a silvery-white dial, and comes with a shiny metal bracelet that has been developed for utmost comfort.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
If you have not worn your automatic or manually wound watch for a prolonged period of time, wind it fully by turning the crown twenty times. Further details are specified in the respective Service Guide.
In order to ensure the performance of your manually wound mechanical watch, we advise you to wind the crown once a day, preferably at the same time. Be careful not to force the crown once you feel resistance.
Do not change the hour or date between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., the period during which the date changes, as this may result in damage to the movement. Please refer to the service guide for further details.
Do not expose your watch to temperatures higher than 60° Celsius (140° Fahrenheit) or lower than –10° Celsius (14° Fahrenheit). As your body and clothing will warm up the watch, its actual temperature will be different from the ambient temperature of your environment.
In case of a shock to the watch, consult a Montblanc boutique or certified Montblanc retailer. Even if no scratches or dents are visible, the movement may be damaged.
Do not wear other jewelry on the same wrist as your watch in order to preserve the patina of its surface and the integrity of the material. To preserve the pristine condition of your alligator, calfskin, satin, or rubber strap, avoid contact with humidity, salty water, soap and cosmetic products. Do not treat your strap with wax, leather, or shoe polish, as chemicals may damage the leather, lining, or stitching. This may cause the strap to lose its original shine. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight to prevent the color from fading. Please note that strong perspiration may darken the leather. Diamonds, set on a bezel or crown, must be handled with care to maintain the lifetime of their brilliance. Avoid contact with chemical products such as fragrances and detergents, as these substances will tarnish precious stones. If your watch has been exposed to such products, clean it with lukewarm water and a soft toothbrush. Then, rinse it with fresh water and use a soft cloth to dry it or let it dry naturally. Never expose it to a direct heat source. Additionally, please be sure to check the stones regularly to ensure they are still securely set.
