Inoui Editions was founded in 2009 by Lise, a stylist and Berçot fashion school graduate, and Mathilde, a designer trained at the Beaux-Arts. Their creative partnership began in 1998 when Mathilde joined Lise’s design office. Together, they collaborated with major fashion houses before embarking on the ambitious journey of creating their own brand, placing design at the heart of every creation.
From their design office in an old boathouse overlooking the Bay of the Somme, the landscape of their childhoods, they draw inspiration from the ever-changing light, colors, and natural scenery. This connection to nature and nostalgia infuses Inoui Editions’ universe with poetic, chimerical, and imaginative elements, which are expressed through the brand’s carefully crafted products.
The brand’s signature offerings include silk scarves and squares, beach towels, bags and clutches, and leather goods. These items serve as versatile canvases appealing to women and men of all generations, allowing the brand to express its creativity while remaining functional and wearable. More recently, Inoui Editions has expanded into luxury leather goods, collaborating with Italian leather experts to ensure artisanal quality, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.
