For a beach party with the beautiful sunset as the backdrop, it’s best to keep things light. Opt for a printed dress featuring bright colors and fun prints. Best to keep the shoe neutral (and flat since you’ll be walking on sand the whole time) and keep the focus on the dress. If you want, you can add an interesting earring or an armful of wooden bangles as a conversation starter.
A party in the great outdoors is romantic, without a doubt. As a guest, it’s best to be prepared for a sunny day. Say yes to a lightweight cotton outfit and no to anything silk. A wedge shoe would go well with the outfit. Toss in a clutch bag and a pair of sunglasses to complete the look.
Ready to cruise? If you’re attending a celebration that’s formal in daytime onboard a cruise ship, a mid-length or short dress is an appropriate choice. Maybe something flirty and floral, with a touch of sparkle. Finish off your look with a classic bag to give it that extra touch.
