Ambosstoys was founded by Elisha Ruesch and Nguyen Nguyen, two passionate collectors of classic cars and motorcycles. Inspired by the timeless designs of pre-1970s vehicles, they began restoring and trading classic vehicles in 2000. Their collection eventually grew to include over 100 motorcycles and a dozen cars, which they restored in their own workshop in Vietnam.

As parents, Ruesch and Nguyen observed the playful behavior of their children and became concerned about the short-lived, plastic toys that dominate the market. They envisioned creating toys that were durable, meaningful, and inspired by the timeless designs of classic vehicles.

Ambosstoys was born from this vision. The name "Ambosstoys" reflects the founders' commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and longevity, much like the anvil, a symbol of metalworking and durability. Their goal is to offer customers valuable, metal toys with classic designs that will last for generations.
