Even if you’re the most minimal makeup-wearer of all time, I'm willing to bet there are at least a few lipsticks kicking around your beauty arsenal. So to make the lipstick shopping process more fun to celebrate July 29, here are a few of my favorite lippies!

July 29 marks National Lipstick Day. I don't know about you but there’s something about swiping on a fresh lipstick bullet that instantly boosts my mood and confidence. It’s the easiest way to feel dressed up, whether I'm just hanging out with my girls or going on a fancy date.
Born in Ancient Mesopotamia more then 5,000 years ago, lipsticks were once made of crushed gems. Since then, it has been worn, celebrated, and recreated. It has definitely been a signature for many from the likes of Madonna wearing MAC Cosmetic's Russian Red Matte Lipstick to Taylor Swift with signature red lip courtesy of NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in shade Dragon Girl.
