In celebration of its 50 stellar years, Ballet Philippines mounts a performance of Swan Lake with new sets by Toto Sicangco. Stars from Mariinsky Ballet (Kirov Ballet), principal dancer Andrey Ermakov and first soloist Elena Evseeva, will take on lead roles on Aug 30 and 31 as Prince Siegfried and the Swan Queen Odette and the evil Odile. After the first two evening performances, the Philippines' very own Denise Parungao and Jemima Reyes will play Odette and Odile, with partners Eugene Obille and Victor Maguad as Prince Siegfied.
