EDITOR'S NOTE

The Montblanc TimeWalker product line symbolizes the spirit of motor racing and harks back to these instruments of glory with a line of new professional watches. It finds its inspiration in timepieces from Minerva’s outstanding history. TimeWalker combines legendary timing instruments of the past with the spirit of motor racing, encapsulating the Minerva heritage, technology, and the glory days of motor racing style.

The TimeWalker Automatic Chronograph 41mm Black comes in a 41mm stainless steel case featuring satin-finished horns with their architectural and carved flanks that have been beveled on the edges to offer a smooth line. In the spirit of racing, this model is equipped with a practical tachymeter scale for timing speed that is indicated on the fixed ceramic bezel. The timepiece features a “reverse panda” dial with a contrasting black background and silvery-white counters and flanges at 6 and 12 o’clock.

The timepiece features Super-LumiNova numerals and indexes, as well as a precise minute track on the flange that has also been enhanced with both Super-LumiNova and red markers for the 15-minute mark for utmost legibility.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • If you have not worn your automatic or manually wound watch for a prolonged period of time, wind it fully by turning the crown twenty times. Further details are specified in the respective Service Guide.
  • In order to ensure the performance of your manually wound mechanical watch, we advise you to wind the crown once a day, preferably at the same time. Be careful not to force the crown once you feel resistance. Do not change the hour or date between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., the period during which the date changes, as this, may result in damage to the movement. Please refer to the service guide for further details.
  • Do not expose your watch to temperatures higher than 60° Celsius (140° Fahrenheit) or lower than –10° Celsius (14° Fahrenheit). As your body and clothing will warm up the watch, its actual temperature will be different from the ambient temperature of your environment.
  • In case of a shock to the watch, consult a Montblanc boutique or certified Montblanc retailer. Even if no scratches or dents are visible, the movement may be damaged.
  • Do not wear other jewelry on the same wrist as your watch in order to preserve the patina of its surface and the integrity of the material.
  • To preserve the pristine condition of your alligator, calfskin, satin, or rubber strap, avoid contact with humidity, salty water, soap, and cosmetic products. Do not treat your strap with wax, leather, or shoe polish, as chemicals may damage the leather, lining, or stitching. This may cause the strap to lose its original shine.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight to prevent the color from fading. Please note that strong perspiration may darken the leather.
  • Diamonds, set on a bezel or crown, must be handled with care to maintain the lifetime of their brilliance.
  • Avoid contact with chemical products such as fragrances and detergents, as these substances will tarnish precious stones. If your watch has been exposed to such products, clean it with lukewarm water and a soft toothbrush. Then, rinse it with fresh water and use a soft cloth to dry it or let it dry naturally. Never expose it to a direct heat source. Additionally, please be sure to check the stones regularly to ensure they are still securely set.
